Wild Rotherham

Rotherham is a diverse Borough close to the city of Sheffield. It is partly on coal measures but has a rich magnesian limestone belt to the south and a sandstone ridge to the east. This mix of geology creates a rich tapestry of habitat ranging from ancient woodland, heathland, wetland and farmland.
